Three new Bills were introduced in Lok Sabha today. These were:
The Bills bring amendments to the Factories Act 1948, the Apprentices Act 1961 and the Labour Laws Act 1988.
Lok Sabha then further discussed the need to have stringent legislation
to check increasing atrocities against women and children in the
country.
Rajya Sabha undertook a discussion on the natural calamities occurring
in various parts of the country and relief measures taken by the
Government.
At the time of sending this diary, Rajya Sabha was undertaking a discussion on the working of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
