Working of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly in 2012

The term of the 15th West Bengal Legislative Assembly commenced in May 2011. The Assembly will complete its five year term in 2016. We present some statistics from the work of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly in 2012. In 2012, the Assembly sat for four sessions. The Budget session commenced on the 15th of March and after 13 days of sitting ended on the 2nd of April. Cumulatively, in 2012, the Assembly sat for a total of 42 days.
