A subsequent Order amended the Sugarcane Order, 1966. If state governments fix a state advisory price (SAP) higher than FRP, they would have to pay the difference to sugarcane farmers. The Order also revokes the additional price for cane to be paid by sugar mills according to the Bhargava Formula.
