This note lists the legislative business planned by Parliament and compares it with the actual performance during Budget Session 2021.

The Budget session of Parliament was held from January 29, 2021 to March 25, 2021. The session was divided into two halves with a recess from February 16, 2021 to March 7, 2021. The session was curtailed by eight days. Parliament adjourned sine die on March 25, 2021 having sat for a total of 24 days. In this session, 13 legislative Bills were introduced and 11 were passed. This excludes the seven Appropriation and Finance Bills. Lok Sabha worked for 107% and Rajya Sabha worked for 89% of their scheduled time. |
