The Budget Session of Parliament was held from January 28, 2026 to April 18, 2026.  During this period, Lok Sabha worked for 86% of its scheduled time and Rajya Sabha for 92%.  Ten Bills were introduced and six were passed (other than two Appropriation Bills and one Finance Bill).  One was voted down and this made two Bills infructuous.
