Budget Session: January 28, 2026 – April 2, 2026

  • The Budget Session of Parliament is scheduled to be held from January 28 to April 2, 2026, with a total of 30 sittings.  There will be a recess from February 14, 2026 to March 8, 2026.

  • Only one Bill, the Finance Bill, 2026, has been listed on the agenda for introduction, consideration, and passing. 

  • The other business to be carried out is the discussion and passage of the Union Budget 2026-27.  The Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address is also scheduled to be discussed.
