The Winter session of Parliament was scheduled to be held from December 7, 2022 to December 29, 2022 but was adjourned four working days in advance. Lok Sabha worked for 88% of its scheduled time and Rajya Sabha for 94% (only accounting for actual sitting days). Seven Bills were introduced in the session (excluding Appropriation Bills). Seven Bills were passed, five of which were pending from earlier sessions. Two Bills to amend the Constitutional (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 were introduced and passed in this session. |
