This note lists the legislative business planned by Parliament and compares it with the actual performance during Monsoon Session 2022.

The Monsoon session of Parliament was scheduled to be held from July 18, 2022 to August 12, 2022 but was adjourned two working days earlier. Lok Sabha worked for 47% of its scheduled time and Rajya Sabha for 42% (only accounting for actual sitting days). Six Bills were introduced in the session, of which two had not been listed for introduction. Five Bills were passed, of which three were pending from the previous session. The Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 was withdrawn. |
