Parliament Diary

Both Houses of Parliament adjourned sine die today, bringing the Budget Session to a close. The session was scheduled to continue until Friday but was cut short by one day. Neither House transacted any of its listed business today.

• Lok Sabha sat for 123% of its scheduled time, and Rajya Sabha sat for 90%. 
• 73% of the budget was passed without discussion.
• Seven Bills were introduced (excluding the Appropriation and Finance Bills), five Bills were passed and no Bills were referred to committees.
