Parliament met for the 16th Sitting of the Budget Session today.
Lok Sabha discussed and passed the Budget for the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the year 2014-15
Members then undertook a discussion on the flood and drought situation
in the country, after which a discussion on points arising out of the
answer given by the Minister of State for Rural Development, Upendra
Kushwaha, on 24th July to a Starred Question No. 243 regarding
“Irregularities under MGNREGS”.
At the time of sending this diary, Lok Sabha was considering matters of urgent public importance raised by MPs.
Rajya Sabha undertook consideration and return of the Finance (No.2)
Bill, 2014, which was also underway at the time of sending this diary.
