Four Bills have been included in the government’s business
for the week in the upper house. These are:

The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of
Children) Amendment Bill, 2015;·
The Whistle Blowers Protection (Amendment) Bill,
2015; and·
The Appropriation Acts (Repeal) Bill, 2015.·
The Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Bill,
2013.
Further, as per the Business Advisory Committee’s report,
three Bills have been listed to be taken up for discussion in Lok Sabha this week. These
are:

The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes
(Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Bill, 2014·
The Negotiable Instruments (Amendment) Bill,
2015- replacing an Ordinance·
The Repealing and Amending (Fourth) Bill, 2015.
Two Bills were introduced in the lower house. These were the
Negotiable Instruments (Amendment) Bill and the Repealing and Amending (Fourth)
Bill.
Discussion on the Delhi High Court (Amendment) Bill
began in
Lok Sabha. The Bill increases the pecuniary jurisdiction of the Delhi
High Court from rupees twenty lakh to two crore. The debate could not be
concluded due to continued protests from the opposition.
In the context of such disruptions, the Speaker named a member of the
opposition for having disregarded the Chair and abusing the rules of the
house. The Speaker ruled that the member
is suspended from the House for the day.
