(ii) Presentation of Home Secretary on Demands for Grants (2026-27) of the Ministry of Home Affairs pertaining to Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Central Police Organisations (CPOs) followed by discussion thereon.

To examine the Demands for Grants of the DoC and the DPIIT

Briefing with the representatives of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in connection with examination of the subject “Power Projects in India – Issues and Challenges”

Examination of proposal of decriminalization of the following Acts:- (i) The Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 (ii) The Delhi Police Act, 1978 (iii) The Civil Defence Act, 1968 (iv) Disaster Management Act, 2005 (v) Delhi Land Holdings (Ceiling) Act, 1960 with the representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Examination of proposal of decriminalization of the following Acts:- (i) Merchant Shipping Act, 2025 (ii) Coastal Shipping Act, 2025 (iii) Recycling of Ships Act, 2020 (iv) Inland Waterways Authority of India Act, 1985 (v) Dock Workers (Regulation of Employment) Act, 1948 (vi) Major Port Authorities Act, 2021 (vii) Marine Aids to Navigation Act, 2021 (viii) Inland Vessels Act, 2021 (ix) The Seamen’s Provident Fund Act, 1966 (x) Indian Ports Act, 2025 with the representatives of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways.

Examination of proposal of decriminalization of the following Acts:- (i) Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (ii) Pharmacy Act, 1948 (iii) National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 (iv) Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010 (v) Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 with the representatives of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Examination of proposal of decriminalization of the following Acts:- (i) Cantonments Act, 2006 (ii) Works of Defence Act, 1903 (iii) Reserve and Auxiliary Air Forces Act, 1952 with the representatives of the Ministry of Defence.

(a) Consideration and adoption of Draft Reports on: (i) Draft Report on action taken by the Government on the recommendations contained in the 8th Report on “Rural Employment through Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA)” (2024-25) pertaining to the Department of Rural Development (Ministry of Rural Development). (ii) Draft Report on action taken by the Government on the recommendations contained in the 21st Report on “Gram Urja Swaraj: Promoting Renewable Energy in Rural Areas” (2024-25) pertaining to the Ministry of Panchayati Raj. (b) Briefing by the representatives of the Department of Rural Development (Ministry of Rural Development) on the subject “Scope of Livelihood Diversification in Rural Areas under National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM)”

Oral evidence of the representatives of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on the Bill ‘The Securities Markets Code, 2025’.

Examination of proposal of decriminalization of the following Acts:- (i) Metro Railways (Operation and Maintenance) Act, 2002 (ii) Delhi Development Act, 1957 (iii) Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (iv) Requisitioning and Acquisition of Immovable Property Act, 1952 (v) Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1956 (vi) Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 with the representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

To hear the Secretary, Ministry of Culture; Director General and Director of the Archaeological Survey of India and the Anthropological Survey of India respectively on the following subjects: a) Assessing the impact of encroachment on protected monuments with a focus on the National Capital Region; and b) Reviewing the progress of anthropological research in documenting India’s population genetics.
