Consideration and adoption of Memorandum No. 1 - regarding selection of subjects for examination during the year 2018-19. 

Meeting to be held on 31st August, 2018 at 11.00 A.M in Committee Room C, PHA

Briefing by the representatives of the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals on the subject Demand and Availability of Petrochemicals including imports and exports. 

Briefing by the representatives of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Scheduled/Non-Scheduled/Test Flying Air Operators/ Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) companies - Safety and Social Security Measures for their Workers/ Employees especially in context of those who are associated with flying the Aircraft. 

To have briefing by the representatives of the Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) on the subject "City Gas Distribution Projects". 

To hear the views of the representatives of Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Finance on the subject 'Status of Implementation of Provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014'.

To hear the Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation on the subjects 'Issues related to proposed disinvestment (if any) of Air India; Specific updates on UDAN Scheme as raised by the Committee at Leh; Exorbitant increase in the excess luggage charges by different airlines; Dynamic pricing of air tickets and other issues connected therewith. To hear the views of Air India, Jet Airways, SpiceJet, Go Air, Indigo, Air Asia and Vistara on the subjects 'Exorbitant increase in the excess luggage charges by different airlines, Dynamic pricing of air tickets and other issues connected therewith.

To review work done by the Committee during the current term i.e. 2017:18.

To review the findings of the study visit undertaken by the Committee from 1st to 8th July, 2018 to Jodhpur, Rishikesh and Bhopal on the subject 'Functioning of AIIMS like Institutions' 

Consideration and adoption of the draft Report on the subject ‘Sino-India Relations including Doklam, border situation and cooperation in international organizations’. 

Agenda of the meeting will be intimated in due course. 

To review the findings of the study visit undertaken by the Committee from 1st to 8th July, 2018 to Jodhpur, Rishikesh and Bhopal on the subject 'Functioning of AIIMS like Institutions'

Discussion with the representatives of the Ministry of Power, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas ONGC GAIL and Directorate General of Hydro Carbons on the subject Stressed Non Performing Assets NPA in Gas Based Power Plants

Briefing by the representatives of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) on Functioning/ Running of Projects of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and NSDC. 

Members are informed that the next meeting of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs will be held at 4.00 P.M. on Friday, the 10th August, 2018 in Room No. ‘62’, First Floor, Parliament House, New Delhi to hear the views of the representatives of the State Government of Telangana on the subject 'Status of Implementation of Provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014'. Representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs will also be present in the said meeting.
